Upright piano in VANCOUVER
on: March 31, 2011, 04:37:02 AM
Hi Dan, (and anyone else in the know),
My friend wants to buy an upright piano in Vancouver.
1. He wants a 52', so as big as possible for an upright. I guess 48's are okay too, but preferably 52.
2. He prefers European brands, doesn't like yamaha or kawai that much.
3. He wants a piano within 15 years old.
4. His price range is anything under 10,000 CAD.
Any suggestions on brands, models, or particular pianos?

Although Dan will be of greater help, especially in the Vancouver area,
I'm a fan of this. Played a few, loved them.

There are many more out there of course. Maybe a used Steinway K52. ?

Thanks for your suggestion!
Although I think things are cheaper in the States, so I'm not sure how much it'll cost here.
