I need some help with fingerings.
on: April 03, 2011, 03:17:46 AM
Hey guys. I've decided to try plunging into my favorite Debussy prelude (la terrasse des audiences du clair de lune) and I'm not doing too bad - I just am having troubles finding the best fingering for the main descending part on the right hand. Anybody have experience with this piece?

These should work. There are no perfect fingerings, so feel free to edit this as you'd like. But I think these should be comfortable if you keep your hand light.

3432 1321 3213 2432 1321 3213 1321
for measures 1 & 2,

3432 1321 3213 2432 1321 3213 2432 1321 3213 1432 1321
for measures 5 & 6.

Wowie! These are naturally-comfortable fingerings!!! Thank you so much. Fingerings never came naturally to me.
