No, the question is quite objective: which sonatas have you played? "Have played" could mean different things (sight-read through, learned one movement, performed complete sonata etc.) - take it however you mean it!

I just though it interesting that these Romantic composers felt content to contribute but 3 sonatas to the repertoire, whereas the genre figures more prominently in the output of Classical masters.

(Note on Mendelssohn: new discoveries have uncovered a handful more sonatas, from his even more youthful period).

Don't you mean "Which sonata is the bestest?" ;)

I actually haven't played any of these, but if it's okay, I would at least like to list which ones I WANT to play: All three of the Chopin sonatas.  8)
