1900 baus piano need help
on: May 09, 2011, 07:25:05 PM
Hello I am new to this forum so if I posted in the wrong place please tell me how to move this and I will. I have (what I was told) is a 1900 piano. It says "Baus Piano New York" inside with the serial# 62860. It has a glass front with a lighted case. (not sure if that's original). It came out of a shaky's pizza parlor. I have looked all over the internet and can find very little info on Baus. It plays nice but the far right "key" doesn't bounce back when pushed. I dont play piano and its taking up space in my house. I was planing on putting it on Craigslist and hoping to get $100 just to get it out of my house but first I wanted to ask an expert if it had any value as an antique so I have turned to your Forum. Thank you in advance for any help you can give pictures are below
