Childish question about Grieg a minor concerto

Hi!

I've been playing piano for around 2 1/2-3 years now. Just wondering if you could tell me what you think: Do you THINK I'd be able to play the Grieg a minor concerto? Or the Ravel G major concerto? And which one is more technically demanding? Just to give some background, here are pieces I'm studying now and have recently studied:

Bach prelude&fugue from DWK book 2 #20 in a minor
Haydn 1st movement of sonata in F major Hob.XVI 29
Chopin polonaise no. 10 in f minor op. 71 no. 3
Chopin préludes op. 28 nos. 15, 20
Liszt études d'exécution transcendante no. 1 preludio
Liszt années de pèlerinage book 1 Chapelle de Guillaume Tell
Grieg lyric pieces book 8 op. 65 Fra Ungdomsdagene
Ravel miroirs 2 oiseaux tristes

Nothing too seriously, just something for fun beside lessons. Oh and if you know any other romantic/20th century concertos you think I'd manage please let me know.

No, not really. I think you need at least 10 years study to play that concerto, unless you think you're a child prodigy.

I think you could handle the opening for Grieg's concerto , even for the opening you need really steady fingers and a long stretch. I don't think you would be able to perform it yet. It's not easy to perform Concertos.

I've only heard the first movement and it already requires an exceptional technique and musical maturity. I agree with herman that you can play the opening but don't try to learn the whole thing until you've developed a sense of maturity.
