Piece of comparable or greater difficulty than Brahms 1st Rhapsody

I've been working on Brahms' Rhapsody No 1 for a couple weeks and have almost learned all the notes and am able to play it at a brisk tempo. Although there is much more for me to do with the piece beyond the notes, I'd like to start something new alongside the Rhapsody. The Rhapsody was already intended to be a pretty difficult piece for me and is the most difficult piece I have yet played. I'd like to try something even more difficult. I'm looking for a piece a bit harder than the Rhapsody, but not too much more difficult, from the Romantic period, and somewhere between 10-20 minutes in length. Any composer is fine, except Brahms as I really don't want to learn 3 of his pieces in a row.

What about the chopin scherzo's, or one of his bigger polonaises, op.44 or 28.
