Question about notation
on: May 21, 2011, 07:52:12 AM
Hi,
I only recently picked up piano again but despite this I've been browsing, out of curiosity, pieces that are out of my reach for some time yet. Many things are easy to find out about, or I've come across them before but there are somethings that I have no idea how to search for besides showing someone and asking them about it. So here I am.
Can anyone tell me what the triple diagonal lines between notes are in the attached image?
Cheers

It's tremolo i suppose. It means you play it like... a trill, but using the written notes. Anyway, you should check out on youtube how it's played.
