W.Hoffmann is a trademark under C.Bechstein just like Euterpe and Zimmermann.
There is also the Bechstein (Without the C.)
It is manufactured in Indonesia or somewhere in Asia.
Ask the local Bechstein dealer for information.
They are very cheap instruments.
Many well known manufacturers today have these cheap models simply to sell more to beginners and students and then hope they will later buy the "real thing".
Steinway designed Boston (made by Kawai) and Essex (made in China).
It is just business strategy
