CD repertoire
on: May 25, 2011, 10:15:05 PM
dear people of piano st.,
i'll record a CD in 2012, and it's time to think about its repertoire. two works that are definitely in are mozart's K. 332 and debussy's children's corner, that is, two mainstream works, but the two works that make me want to record a CD notwithstanding. then, i'd like to balance the CD with very unknown works by lesser known composers.

there are two constraints: it must be early to mid 19th century music and i have 20 to 25 minutes yet available. so, it can be a cycle of character pieces, two larger works, a set of variations, a bunch of unrelated works... well, anything but a sonata or a suite.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance. best regards!

Solo works are not really my "area" old chap, but I will have a think.
