Jim Brickman: Waterfall

Hi there everyone
I'd just like to ask you a question about "Waterfall" by Jim Brickman. If you're not familiar with the piece you can hear it here:

I'm supposed to be playing a recital piece for my university class tomorrow- and I'd really like to play this (I've learnt it all and can play it fine). However the pieces we play have to be at least a Grade 8 standard, and I'm worried people might think I've picked a piece which is too easy?
If you guys could give me your opinion it would be much appreciated.

If the school you attend has a predominantly classical music orientation, which is another way of saying they are classical music snobs, then they may look at you disdainfully for playing such a "pop" song.
I would ignore the issue of Grade because in principle, the grade of a piece, whilst subjective, is irrelevant.
