Dvorak Piano Music
on: May 26, 2011, 07:08:18 PM
I am currently discovering some superb piano music written by Dvorak. Of course, the Slavonic Dances are well known. Less well known are a rich vein of short pieces - waltzes, mazurkas, eclogues and a wealth of other pieces. Enough to fill 5 CD's. Sadly, many of these pieces are difficult to obtain in printed form. Perhaps Pianostreet could assist here? :)

I recently obtained 1 or 2 Dvorak books from the konemann publisher who went bankrupt or stopped publishing some years ago. If you see them somewhere, buy them, they're worth every penny and they are very cheap. Some bookshops should still have 'm.
