Looking for fellow pianists
on: May 26, 2011, 10:29:07 PM
Hi,
My name is greg and I am currently studying piano fairly seriously as a hobby and currently working on a few classical pieces in order to boost my repertoire. I recently purchased a lovely digital piano and have dusted down my old books including the pieces that I played for my Gd 8 exam over 25 years ago. Since lessons finished for me which was just before I went to university, I have only been playing in weddings, funerals and church services but not regularly. I would class myself as early-advanced level as I am working on Gd7 to diploma level pieces. It would be nice to have contact with anyone who is a pianist (either professional or ameteur), someone who has "played the piano to advanced level but have chosen a career path that has taken them away from music" (like myself). I would welcome reponses from anyone but I would especially welcome those who live near Staines, Middlesex. Please send me a message and I will give you my email address.
Happy playing
