Beethoven Rondo in C (Op. 51 No. 1)
on: June 01, 2011, 07:35:16 AM
Hi! I've been learning this piece but my teacher has just told me to change the slurs etc. in the main theme.

As it is (and as I've seen on most scores) it has the F-A-G-F in one slur, and the E-G-F-E right after.
She wants it changed to F (staccato) then A-G-F slurred, and E staccato G-F-E slurred.

What do you think? I like the change, but haven't seen it done like this. Is it a valid change?

Thankyou :)
