"Little Tune" - Second try :D
on: June 01, 2011, 11:14:03 PM
Ok. My second time improvising.

Just a little tune that came to my mind while practcing my Mozart Sonata. I liked it very much, and I saved everything to worker further later.

There's a lot of mistakes. I can play it very good for myself, but I always get nervous while recording and do a lot of mistakes =/

Anyway, hope you like it

Way to rock the Floyd Cramer style!!!!!!!  That was seriously flippin' awesome.  You do the slip notes like you've been doing them all your life.  Where did you learn how to do that?  I've heard some people try to play slip notes and it comes out quite hillarious, but you sound like you have some Floyd on your MP3 player.  You just made my life.  Oh, and nice bluegrass lick.
I don't practice.  I call it play because I enjoy it. --A quote by Floyd Cramer.

I learned it from a book called "The complete guide to country piano", by Mark Harisson.

The lick just came to my mind while I was practcing mozart

One of those Mozart pieces actually has what sort of sounds like a slip note, but I can't remember what the piece is called.  My best friend, who is a piano prodigy, used to play it and I would freak out.  Also, I had to learn a Mozart piece for college that had some of those in it.  Well, they called them grace notes, but when they came out of my piano, they sounded like slip notes, lol.  My best friend was like, "That sounds kind of country there."  Keep playing like that, man.  It rocks.

I'm excited to hear it.  The kind of day I'm having, I really REALLY need to hear it.
