These are so great! I think they give great insight into his music, or is it that his music gives insight into his paintings? Comments?

I was not terribly excited by his paintings, but I guess it surprised me how unexpectedly conventional they are.

I hope he composed more proficiently than he painted.
A modern house without a flush toilet... uncanny.

well he shows a bit of potential. but hey it's the 20th century you can draw/paint whatever the hell you want and the supposed 'talent' doesn't come into it. personally (from an artist's point of view fafafa ;) ) i don't find them very riveting. like there are artworks that can be relatively simple and don't appear to have required much artistic talent but convey a lovely atmosphere. however i do not get that from schoenberg's works. don't mind his music though.
