classical sonatas for Master`s auditions
on: June 05, 2011, 08:58:36 AM
Hi,

I wish to audition for a Master`s in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. I need a complete Classical Sonata either by Haydn, Beethoven, Mozart or Schubert. I have learnt the "Tempest" and the "Waldstein" and am presently embarking on Haydn C major Hob. XVI/50. However, from an audition point of view, I suppose the "Waldstein" is overplayed. I don`t really want to play the "Tempest" because I want to learn a completely new sonata. Any suggestions ?
