Question about harmony books
on: June 11, 2011, 12:47:43 AM
Hey people...
Ive been studying Walter Priston's "Harmony" for about 2 months, but its a hell difficult to do it by myself.
Does anyone know this other book, called "Harmony and Voice Leading" by Edward Aldwell?
Link on amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/Harmony-Voice-Leading-Edward-Aldwell/dp/0495189758/ref=sr_1_10?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1307753130&sr=1-10
The reviews looks promising.
Basically what I want is to learn how to make an orchestral arrangement, so I need to know how to make chord progressions and voice leadings.
