Sustain Pedal trap lever spring Broken
on: June 21, 2011, 06:21:47 PM
Hello, all! I just found out that the trap lever spring on the sustain lever is broken. I have a Henry F Miller upright, but I'm not sure where to start looking for this part. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chris

Hello, all. So I've found a couple websites that sell new trap lever springs. Unfortunately, they all require a minimum order amount of $30-$40!! The part itself is only $2-$3, so I'd rather not spend tons of money on one part. Anyone know a website where I can order this part without the requirement of a minimum order amount?
Thanks!

Call around local piano techs. They may be willing to part with one. They may even have a junk piano with one, and are willing to cannibalize it.

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
