Who here has been tracking the competition? And what do you think about Trifonov winning?  ;D

The orchestra sucked so bad! They were terrible. It's probably the most meaningless Mozart concertos I've ever heard. That Trifonov won wasn't a big chock, really :P I guessed he would. Damn, will he have a career or what? Though, he isn't the cutest pianist ever when he's playing :P
Though, I really liked the 17 y.o. South Korean boy. The Dante sonata was really well played!

A pen is often better than nothing..

Then again, maybe he:
1. Thought it was only Mozart, it's too easy for a full baton.
2. Broke the baton in frustration.
3. Wanted to save his wrist for tonight's WoW raid.
Albeniz: Suite Española #1, Op 47,
Bach: French Suite #5 in G,
Chopin: Andante Spianato,
Chopin: Nocturne F#m, Op 15 #2
Chopin: Ballade #1 Gm & #3 Aflat Mj

I think it would be different if Vladimir Ashkenazy showed up for the final voting
