The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. What exactly are you trying to do with the keys down and up?  Scales, arpeggios, chords, riffs, progressions?

Moving in the cycle of 5ths tends to place related keys closer together, as opposed to working chromatically.  Eg: C and G scales have more similar fingering than C and Db.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

In Mozart's Fantasy, there is a part where you have to play all of the keys up in Presto, for example C-C#-D-D#-E-F-F#-G    etc all the way

Use your 3rd finger on black keys and 1st finger on white keys, but use your 2nd finger for C and F.
