I have recently tried to write counterpointpieces based on famous themes and itīs really fun actually.

Lambada worked great and Learning to Live by Dream Theater too, Baby Elephant Walk was a lot harder.

Does anybody know any composer that has done this a lot or a website with counterpointworks based on famous themes?

What do you mean, "counterpointpieces"/"counterpointworks"? Do you mean something like how someone wrote a 3 voice fugue on Lady Gaga's Bad Romance? I heard it and it was terrible.

I use the words pieces or works since I want to include counterpointcompositions that are not really fugues or canons for instance.

Similar to that fugue yes. I donīt think itīs terrible actually but itīs a matter of taste. ;)
