If you download his version of "Tenderly" here (https://electrofresh.com/midi-15537-download-oscar_peterson-tenderly.html), you'll notice it has a somewhat similar tone and the "flowery" feel to Rach 3 (the flowery part of Rach 3).

It'll help if you download Sibelius or Synthesia to listen to the .mid file.

First of all however, I kind of have doubts that this was played by Oscar. Well, first, it isn't in youtube; the ones in youtube show his performance with Nat King Cole and in Japan, which aren't that one. Could it really be Oscar?

Anyways, according to the wiki Oscar made various references to the Rachmaninoff's concertos in his performances. Could this be one? Could this be a direct reference to Rachmaninoff's 3rd piano concerto?

The style, feel, and even melody is very similar. He must have drawn inspiration from the concerto!
