Unique Vertical Pleyel Piano - Year 1843

Unique Vertical Pleyel Piano serial number 10112 year 1843, special order for Countess Natalia Obreskoff
(family name is Princess Natalia Cheremetiev/Sheremetev)



■ Piano : Pleyel Pianino Vertical
■ Style : Russian
■ Wood : Black Rosewood (very rare)
■ Octaves : C to G



Piano encrusted in gold covered beadings and gold plated pedals. When one looks closely to the wood, it almost looks like tigers eye.



This early piano special order made by Ignace Pleyel Paris, is a much important part in not just Musical Instrument History, but also in Music History as well, being one of the famous pianos played by the much Loved Frédéric-François Chopin (March 1, 1810 – October 17, 1849)...
