Chances of getting into Juilliard or German conservatory?
on: July 05, 2011, 02:19:46 AM
Hello everybody! I am new to Pianostreet.com but not to piano. (am 14 and have played for seven years) I would just like to know the chances of getting into Juilliard or a German Conservatory. As for non-easy repertoire I have learned the 3rd movement of Moonlight, Heroic polonaise and am currently learning Ballade 1 and Waldstein. I can play these pieces pretty decently am considering going to a conservatory in Germany or going to Juilliard. Could I have an even somewhat remote chance of getting in?

Hi, so are you currently studying music? Also of course you can! My family has been going german music academies for 3 generations (as violinists but anyway) They also listen to you very shortly, and see what they want and look at your musically, expecting you have already done with technical difficulties
