I-V-I pieces
on: July 21, 2011, 02:29:27 AM
Who can show me some pieces that uses only or mostly the I-V-I progression?

It doesnt need to be a piano piece. It can be for orchestra, vocal, string quartet, anything. Its for harmon studying purposes.

Thanks.

Kuhnau - Biblical Sonata No. 5.

If you have the Aldwell and Schachter text you probably are already aware of this piece.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

I don't know how advanced they have to be but Beethoven's Eccosaise in G is just I-V throughout with one IV thrown in there.  And I think Mozart's polonaise in F is too, but not 100% sure on that one.
