Is this really Scriabin playing?

I found this "recording" of Scriabin. I personally think that this is a wonderful interpretation and everything sounds so beautiful. But did Scriabin really record this etude? And this is a wonderful quality recording...with great rubatos and color and sound...Very close to Horowitzs version if this indeed is Scriabin. Anyone have any information? So many people on youtube tend to say that its the composers playing when it's someone else playing...

My guts tell me it's not Scriabin, it's a recording from the late 20th century or even later. Well I guess time will reveal the truth. But for sure it's very beautiful!! :)

It looks to me like it's a piano roll recording. This means that it was recorded on a piano roll by Scriabin back in the days, and then put into a modern player piano, and then that playback was recorded.
