Little Prelude in D major BWV 925
on: August 12, 2011, 06:28:32 PM
Hi everyone :)
I haven't really been on for awhile because I was on vacation-- I hope everyone's doing well!

This isn't me playing, it's my little sister, and she'd be really happy if someone could comment on her recording. Her exam is coming up, and this is one of her favourite pieces.

Thanks!

It's really nice. How old is she? Most of the time, she has good control. A bit in the ending, where the chords aren't very precise, and somewhere in the middle with running 16th note which aren't completely together. But most of it was very good :)

One of my favorite "little preludes" and she plays it very well!  The only thing that seemed a bit off is the timing on a few cadences near the end.  I think she is broadening them intentionally which is fine.  It just doesn't sound quite natural to me in this recording.  But that is really a small detail.
