on: August 18, 2011, 04:52:06 PM
Hi, could anyone help me with this? I'm having problems so far with measurs 5-7.
Thanks,
Naomi

As a future reference, be sure to include which book you are talking about (WTC Book 1 or 2). I see in your signature it's from book 1, so I assume that is what you mean.
Measure 5 I use 3 on the C#, then as follows: 2, 3, 4, 5 - 4 coming down on G#, 3, 5 on E, 4, 3,
Measure 6, 4 on B natural, 3, 1, 2, 5 - 4 on F# coming down, 5, 4, 3, 5
Measure 7, 4 on A natural, 3, 1, 2, 5 - 4 on E natural coming down, 3, 2, 4, 3.
Fiddle around with it and see what is most comfortable. Don't forget to sustain the alto notes for their correct duration.
Best wishes,

Right, sorry about that. I forgot to put down which book.
Thanks for the advice, it will probably help. Yeah it would be a lot easier to play this if I didn't have to hold down the alto notes wouldn't it, lol.
