Satie: Gnossiennes III
on: August 19, 2011, 12:54:03 PM
Now that i just got my new piano, I thought i might upload a piece. It's extremely easy, but I do like it. I don't think the recording with my iPhone does the piece or piano justice, but it's all i have.
LMK whacha think

Somehow, I kind of liked the not so good quality. It suited the character very well, I think...
And I liked your playing as well.
The only thing is when the theme consists of many notes, like a scale. I don't really understand either the rhythm or what your going for, but other than that, I liked it

Piano man, I can't say I really understand your comment, did I miss something?
This piece is strange rhythmically, as it feels very strongly as though it is written in 2/4, but is actually written in nothing: one big continuous measure. But I like what you did with it and for a quick iPhone recording I think you did pretty well. I'd like to hear you play something bigger with a decent recording setup though!
