At the little run shortly after 0:50 , what does Gould do?
Does he plays the arpeggio backwards , this is not how i learnt it.

Yes. He starts on the highest note and arppegiates downwards. I know Barenboim also does this, Hewitt might also, but I'm not sure.

He has such a wonderful touch.

Soo ill just reverse it then , i figured it out. Thats Genius sounds much better than Bach's solution.

I think he plays it in the other direction in the Final Aria at the end of the variations.
