New student learning again...
on: August 26, 2011, 12:19:49 AM

Hello,

I am a new member and I just started music lessons again and relearning from not playing after 15 years....I have to start from zero....but no matter what level I was at, that is not relevant. I am enjoying myself a lot!  ;D

The teacher told me I am very gifted, I have a very strong ear for music and good memory!

Even thought this is for fun, how long will it take before going to Grade 8 or above?

Thank you for any replies! :-)

It all depends on you and the effort you're willing to put in.

I stopped playing piano from 2008-2011. What are your favorite pieces? The piece that you play most or one that connects with you to the point where you find yourself play it a lot.

Before 2008, I had a lot of pieces memorized. For me to relearn it now, I just have to put in my effort because if I've played it once before, then there's no reason why I can't play it again.

Hope this helps.
Perfection itself is imperfection.
