Splash 9/2/11
on: September 03, 2011, 06:16:58 PM
Last night, immediately after playing on Horowitz's piano, I for some reason went to as bad an instrument as I could find to do what seems only appropriate on such an instrument and splash around for a few moments of childish fun. HAH! It's been a while since I've even improvised -can you believe it?

Haha! that's fun! I'm sure if I show this to that particular student who told me yesterday that he'd like to play "John Stump's" "Death waltz"...he might ask me for the sheet music for this...and then I'm doomed :o So I better not let him listen... Though...hmmm why not... ;D

Haha Wolfi, I don't know what that means, but if he thinks this is an actual piece of music rather than a romp on the playground, I might be worried for the world!

Oh duh! I knew what John Stump's Death waltz is, hahahaha. Just didn't get it by name. Sounds like a wild student to teach!

He's not really what I'd describe as wild, I think he got that thing from a friend who said to him "haha you should play this one, it's crazy!" I have actually managed to find that sheet music and I will present it to him in one of the next lessons :)
