Anyone familiar with the Lambert Kreuter brand?
on: September 15, 2011, 07:05:28 AM
Hi All,
New to this forum and this is my first post. I recently bought a used baby grand that was just delivered today! The Make/Model is a Lambert Kreuter Wien and the estimated "birth year" is 1946. It has a beautiful rosewood finish and it's original ivory keys. The most interesting thing about this piano is that it has an extended 97 key keyboard which (I believe) is only found in Bosendorfer's. The hammers look as though they've been replaced and this piano just has the loveliest soft, rich tone.
Does anyone have information about this brand? I'd love to know the history of my new piano!
Thanks!
Tammy
