Well I do not know all that much about the teaching, but I know there are brilliant teachers in South Africa.
I believe there is an excellent music department in Stellenbosch for advanced studies.
We have some people that were winners in International Competitions, so the teaching is eaasily up to standard.
SA is a very relaxed country, especially in that part of SA. And I am sure the natural beauty will only help your music! The weather is fantastic too.
Do an online search, I am sure you'll find some info.

oh thank you so much for the reply..  but South Africa..  that's far beyond my imagination..  it's indeed a nice place to stay for a short or long while, but if it's for improvement on piano, i still think places like Russia or America would be better. :)

There is also Catherine Foxcroft who teaches at Rhodes University in a small town in South Africa called Grahamstown. It's an internationally recognised university and Catherine spent most her life studying and performing in Europe so she is definately without a doubt one of the top teachers in the world!

Yes, there are many good conservatoires in Russia, such as the Moscow Conservatory, Gnessin Music Academy and St Petersburg Conservatory.

But there are logistics that you will need to consider.  It will be difficult to study their without knowing Russian, so you will need to think whether you will have the commitment to learn a new language (I assume you are not from Russia, otherwise you would not have asked this qestion).

Beethoven - Sonata in C sharp minor, Op 27 No 12
Chopin - Fantasie Impromptu, Nocturn in C sharp minor, Op post
Brahms - Op 118, Nos 2 & 3
