hello everyone! i've been interested in learning liszt's hexameron. i know its a rare work played these days, but it just seems like a really nice piece! i'd like some tips, like how hard do you think it is technically and musically...?

I too once wanted to learn this piece. Technically I found it, apart from its obvious difficulties, quite under the hand and so easier than it sounds. That being said, it is still naturally extremely difficult to sustain such a variety of technique for twenty minutes. Ultimately, I decided against learning this piece simply because I didn't see too much going on there musically. Although time may change my mind... Anyway, good luck!
