Brahms rhapsody g minor tricky section

How would one practice the section where the left hand plays dotted rhythm octaves against triplets in the right hand? This first shows up on the second page of the Brahms Rhapsody op79 no 2. Any tips or suggestions? Thank you very much!  ;D
