VIDEO: Brahms Piano Concerto no.2 Bb minor op.83
on: October 16, 2011, 09:22:17 PM
A rare opportunity to perform this wonderful and challenging work. Here are the 1st and 2nd movements.
Thank you for your patience to watch this long video.
Welcome all comments and criticisms.
Cheers,

I only got a chance to watch the first few minutes. Great playing, and your affinity for Brahms continues to shine through. I am very familiar with the work but have never had the opportunity to hear the two piano reduction, so this is quite a treat. I will watch the rest later today and offer more detailed comment. The one criticism I have is the camera operator, a bit jerky and not always well framed, but I'll get over it since this was clearly a live performance. Anyway, I have to get to work.

thank you for your time spent watching the video.
the problem with two pianos are that we can't really control the volume with two resonating grands... sounds quite loud throughout... as a pianist dying to play with an orchestra, of course i will prefer the original orchestra accompaniment! =)
