Getting the score of film music

As someone interested in all kinds of music I sometimes hear sections in the music of tv series/movies that I would love to see the score from, but I am only intereseted in a few measures.

Has onyone ever tried to get such a score? Emailing to the webmaster of the official site? Or writing a letter to the producer/company?  

The ones I am interested in is the music from Star Wars, Return of the Jedi, from the scene where Luke starts to smash away at an almost beaten Darth Vader, the part with the choir.

The other is just a few measures from the background music from Andromeda.

I don't know if this should be posted at misc or here.
