A Free Grand Piano? – Scammers Target Piano Enthusiasts

If you’re in the market for a piano, be cautious of a new scam that’s targeting music lovers, businesses, schools, and churches. Scammers are offering “free” pianos but with hidden fees that can add up to hundreds of dollars and, as you may have guessed, the piano will never be delivered. Read more

Hi folks

in August this year I had the fortunate offer to make recordings on another piano previously owned by Franz Liszt.
It is displayed at the Bechstein centre in Berlin.

Here are some links for those who are interested:

If the links do not work: Just google Anna Ivanova Liszt Bechstein and you will find them. Also a crummy recording made in the Liszt Museum in Weimar (Franz Liszt's former house)

Thanks for posting this.  I thoroughly enjoyed your playing and the sound of that gorgeous Bechstein. Liszt must have adored it.
When a search is in progress, something will be found.

This is fantastic. Thanks for sharing. The sound of the piano and the performance really is amazing. Was this here?

It would be nice to go and have a look. I travel to Berlin now and then.

Hi John

Thank you. And yes, that is the addres. It is in Berlin Charlottenburg. Enjoy.
And if you ever have the opportunity, go to Weimar as well. Being in Liszt´s house with the Bechstein standing there is quite an experience for a musician.
Unfortunately making pictures is not allowed, so I added a few.
K rgds Anna
