I'm currently listening to all of Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words (all 8 books) and following the score. I happened to notice the free score on this website lists this piece as being in the key of B flat minor. The Wanderer as it is sometimes called has 2 sharps in the Key Signature and is in B minor. Just thought I'd mention it.
