Chocobo Paraphrase
on: November 04, 2011, 06:54:21 PM
just discovered this, i'm quickly becoming a fan of this 'faceless' pianist that i can only find who seem to go by "piano YN" (YT channel)
https://www.youtube.com/user/pianoYN?feature=watch
his playing is as impressive as his arragnement/compositional skills (to me at least)
this piece is so funny, i'm very familiar with the original Uematsu versions of the themes it's based on, it seems rather well contructed including some very creative harmonizations not found in the originals.
what are your thoughts on it? just curious, i might go about learning this soon but i think this 'guy' is really good and deserves some exposure.
sheets and mp3 uploaded, no copyright infringement he makes it all available for free on his web site
