Op 38. Shadow Andante ***original Composition***
on: November 11, 2011, 04:48:03 PM

Piece is written in F sharp minor
The introduction is the theme and everything just grows from that like shadow spilt onto the floor.

Thanks for posting another of your excellent compositions, johnnyjohn! You're tempting me to get an upright steinway, it sounds so fantastic for an upright.

Out of curiosity, are you a fan of Brahms? I felt like I heard an undercurrent of Brahms influence, in places.

Hi guys thanks for listening and leaving feedback

Hi Derek,

Yes there certainly has a bit of Brahm's feeling to it, I rarely listen to Brahm though, I was mostly inspired by Rachmaninoff to write this piece. Hmm, just to let you know...the piano has a very nice upper end but the lower end is a bit muddy and the grand piano action can be quite hard to play **i have problem playing ppp but maybe that's just my lack of practice***

Hi Irismanu, what do you mean by notes?
