When one does not know what to play, I usually recommend Debussy and Ravel. In this case, I do not know if they are obscure enough (definitely less known than Mozart, Beethoven or Bach however). Perhaps you could try some Gershwin preludes or song transcriptions?

Best regards, Dr

hmm there's Rebikov (some very 'impressionistic' like sounds), Taneyev (check out his prelude and fugue i would classify this as incredibly difficult
), Blumfeld (etude fantasie in f min sounds exciting
), Respighi (the piano sonata is so cool!
),

gosh the list could almost be endless, if you're more specific we can suggest more lit

Maybe you can try some Handel, Clementi, C.P.E Bach, Medtner, Alkan, and heaps more from the 20th century.
Funny? How? How am I funny?
