Mendelssohn - Rondo Capriccioso [My perfomance]
on: November 20, 2011, 05:28:12 PM
This is my interpretation of "Rondo Capriccioso" from Felix Mendelssohn. It's a big and fantastic piece and I'd like you to watch my perfomance.

So, thank you for watching this video and I hope you like it!  :)

The image's quality is bad, but the sound's quality is rather acceptable.  ;)

For some reason I wasn't able to upload the end.  I had to divide it for youtube.  All I really suggested was in the octave passage at the end, which you play very well, by the way, to accent the first beat of the measures 5,6,7, 8 to bring out that progression.  Then when you start the descending octaves, begin a slight accelerando and continue it until the very end.  It makes for an exciting finale!

I don't know how to thank you for the video that you have done. I think your comments are very interesting and I love to know the point of view from other expert pianists (like you seem)

Yes, I agree with you. I should have done a little faster the first part. And yes, I also think there are some parts that would have been better with no pedal.

Thank you very much for having post this video to tell me your opinion. Everybody doesn't do it  ;)

Thank you again, and I'd like to have that commentary (and the link) in the video's commentary in YouTube, or put your video like "Video's answer" on my YouTube's video, because I could have your comment by hand when I need it  :)

Bye! ^^
