What is your opinion of order of difficulty for the Liszt Mephisto Waltzes? Also, which one is your favorite and why?

Cheers, Berniano

Richter considered the no 1 to be the most difficult. I would list them in this order, most difficult to easiest: 1,2,3,4.
I like all of them but the 1st one is the best, it has a lot more moments compared to the others. It would be awesome if one could bind all the best moments from all 4 and make a 5th Mephisto :)
