Ravel (although Debussy has a version as well) from the amazing set of three pieces based on poems by Bertrand--Gaspard de la Nuit.

You share your dynamics with Argerich (in the sonata anyway).

Well done, and ice water clarity  ;).  Do you have a site (concerts, specifically...)?

no, you have the wrong idea- you have to be a real geek to post as much as I do.  But you- such a prestigeous history.  If I met you, I would probably ask for your autograph!

Wow Koji, That is a very great recording of Ondine. I'm saving it and burning it. Truly amazing. Congrats.

I like.

Is it a live recording?

I read you are doing your doctorate. How old are you?
For a good laugh, check out my posts in the audition room, and tell me exactly how terrible they are :)

well, that certainly is interesting.  I'm not going to say anything bad- I have a friend who is obsessed with Stargate Sg1, and downloads technical data on the starships to calculate aerodynamics, maximum speed, and all kinds of stuff to bring up at his stargate forum.

Although, sometimes I see threads at their forum like "Cpt. Picard VS. Cpt. Janeway- who will win?" and I break out laughing at the nerds!!

But I wont say anything ignorant about you, koji STSD.

Well, I'm 32 and still watch cartoons and play video games and read comic books...no wonder I'm still not married. ::)

koji (STSD)

btw, I have a friend from Tokyo who got all the way (and I think won) an international Magic tourney a few years back.

My computer and graphics card are too old for Halo 1, let alone the sequel.  I played once at a friends house though.  It was pretty cool!

Do you guys like XBOX?  I have heard mixed reviews about it- stuff about it being so complicated, it defeats the purpose of choosing a console over a computer.

I have a PS2, and I am quite content with it for now, but I will be on the watch out for the PS3 due in a while.

I think it's a nice console; but for games like Mafia and KOTOR, pc is still the way to go.

Haha, Koji is no geek.

Don't listen to what he says about being a geek, because he isn't one.  ;)

He probably thinks pretty poorly of my dress sense, however.  ::) but that's another story.

Also, Koji, slow down on Ondine! It's all very good, but sounds way too rapid, give the notes enough time to ring sonorously. But that's my only complaint! :)

Perhaps it's fast (ok it IS fast), but you can still hear all the spaces between the notes (unlike a lot of slower, fakey renditions).
