on: November 26, 2011, 09:51:22 PM
hey people, theres an old movie about Maestro R.Schumann, wheres "Brahms" playing hes Hungarian dance No.4 in F, now, i got 2 piano scores, one in F sharp minor, and other in F minor (The orchestral score is in F SHARP)

heres the scene of "Brahms" playing it

It starts at 1:35 minutes, Can someone recognize this tonality, is this f sharp minor or f minor, i would be very grateful, thank you...

Despite the film being incredibly old, you'll find that he's playing in f sharp minor. The audio is a bit flat, which is why it may sound a little sharper on your piano... but it's not quite flat enough to be f minor.
