Wedding music suggestions?
on: December 06, 2011, 03:15:50 PM
Hi guys -- I've just been recruited to play piano for a wedding -- TOMORROW!!! Anybody have any suggestions for for a processional and a recessional? For the processional, I was thinking Sheep May Safely Graze, but I'm kinda stuck for the recessional. I'm a good sight reader as long as it doesn't go too fast (no Widor Toccata for instance).

Thanks in advance.

There's a lot of Baroque music that can be put together in a pinch such as this.

Handel - pick something form Water Music

or the Charpentier - Te Deum Prelude

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach
