Difficulty in the left hand on Liszts Schubert-Wanderer
on: December 18, 2011, 10:36:18 AM

6th bar on the second row (in the f-key) there are quite some difficult leaps in the left hand.
From b to f to the third (I'm dutch speaking so I try) b-d.

How does one finger such runs ?

I decided to come back to live in the pianostreet and hope to find many honest new piano-friends all over the world, without too much "I know best" talking, reason why I quitted last time.

Thanks for any response to the problem.

Have fun during the holidays.

From Belgium with greetings.

5-3 21 works best for me.

I suspect there will be different preferences with different hand shapes and sizes. I can do 5-3 21 but prefer 5-4 21.

Yes I would also prefer 5 3 21, not really that big of a leap (that one) but just take whatever suits your hand and STICK with it.
Repertoire.
