Am I doing something wrong?
on: December 23, 2011, 05:03:30 PM
During the last days, I've played Inventions 1, 4, 7 and 8 most of the time when I have had free time. I play them at least once and with both hands, without using metronome.

When I go to sleep and wake up, my fingers are not cold as usual, they are very warm, and today they have pained a little.

Am I in the right direction in order to improve my piano skills or am I doing something wrong?

A couple of questions arise when reading your post.
1: what composer (judging from the question, it's probably JS Bach.)
2: how much experience do you have? since these inventions are not the best pieces to start with.
3: do you have piano lessons.
4: have you been doing other things that might have caused this.
5: for how long have you been studying this piece?
